Junior Fiber Backhaul Engineer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
Support the installation and maintenance of fiber optic cabling and associated distribution infrastructure.
Utilize tools like Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers (OTDR) to identify and locate fiber breaks or signal degradation.
Assist with fiber splicing, site preparation, and infrastructure documentation for new expansion projects.
Monitor environmental factors at remote sites that could impact fiber performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
Familiarity with the usage of splicers and OTDR work tools.
