Igniting Hope for the Less Privileged Initiative is excited to partner in the implementation of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Project (WASHPRO) by the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to ECOWAS, in collaboration with the West African Health Organization (WAHO).

As part of this transformative initiative, St. Anne's School Molete Ibadan, Oyo State Southwest Nigeria was selected as one of the beneficiaries.

Our team trained students in liquid soap, disinfectant/antiseptic, and bleach making. We also held sensitization sessions on menstrual hygiene, distributed free branded sanitary pads, and the drilling of a borehole to provide clean, portable water.

We were honored to have His Excellency, the Permanent Representative of Nigeria Mission to ECOWAS, Ambassador Olawale Emmanuel Awe and the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial district, Distinguish Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli for the Commissioning of the WASH Project and distribution of the branded Sanitary Pads.

The occasion was graced with the presence of the Executive Director of the Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) Mr. Oyebisi Babatunde Oluseyi.

Together, we’re creating opportunities and restoring dignity for the next generation of confident young women.
