Earlier this week, I had the privilege of joining a boardroom meeting with EDC and Mastercard Foundation as an alumna of the Transforming Nigerian Youth (TNY) program.
We had honest conversations about how the program has helped us, young women to grow stronger businesses, gain confidence, and become better leaders. 💪🏽
We also discussed the challenges many women in business still face, especially access to mentorship and finance.
Having someone who has walked the same path to guide you makes all the difference. And while so many women have brilliant ideas, lack of funding still holds many back.
One key takeaway for me?
👉🏽 Confidence is everything.
Believe in yourself, believe in your business, and watch it reach new heights. 🌟
It wasn’t just another meeting, it was a reminder that I’m part of a community of women shaping the future. 💚
Huge thanks to EDC and the Mastercard Foundation for this amazing opportunity and for continuously supporting young women in business. 🙌🏽

Day 1 of our 2-Day Recycling Workshop Bootcamp
While everyone else was busy with their day,
I spent a bunch of my day with 23 amazing school kids, aged 4-16, curious minds ready to explore recycling, creativity, and new skills.
But during the introductory session, something struck me deeply…
I asked the children
“Hello children, how many of you have heard about the word Sustainability and Vocational Education..?”
Guess how many raised their hand?
You must have guessed wrong, Just 1 - only 1 child has heard the word Sustainability and Vocational Education but they all knew what recycling was.
This moment was a powerful reminder that while we’re making progress, there’s still so much work to be done in building awareness about green skills, circular economy, and the value of hands-on education for our future.
We didn’t just teach recycling today, we sparked curiosity, planted seeds of change, and showed these young minds that their hands and ideas can create value.
Tomorrow, we continue… and I’m excited to see their projects come to life! 🌟

Big News!🤩
I’m honored to be speaking at an upcoming webinar on the impact of TVET (Technical & Vocational Education and Training) in today’s labour market.
As the founder of Araverme (sustainable fashion) and iREFURBISH (recycling & upcycling), I’ll be sharing how vocational skills helped me build purpose-driven brands and what I believe should change to better prepare young entrepreneurs.
