MOON'S POV
I can't bear the pain anymore, it's been hours since I laid down to sleep, but different thoughts never let me rest. I feel like I'm nothing but a mess 😥 there is nothing to cheer me up but him, ya Qadeer. What kind of addiction is this? Can I really survive this? I try to ignore everything I'm feeling deep down, close my eyes, but all I see is a picture of him with another woman 😭. The man I've loved since my teenage years is now married to another woman, not me. I knew I was the one who encouraged him to get married, but I didn't expect seeing him married to another woman would hurt me this much. I thought I was strong enough to handle this because it's for our own good, but God, I can't take it anymore. I can't sleep here pretending to be okay while my heart skips a beat each time I picture them together as husband and wife. I can't pretend to be okay while my Qaseem is out there making out with another woman. It hurts like hell, tears are rolling down my cheeks, and I can't seem to stop them. I get up and go to the bathroom.Performing ablution, I grabbed a prayer mat and hijab and started praying and seeking Allah's forgiveness because, as I told Qaseem, I know all of this is our punishment. We are being punished for all the wrongs we've ever done, for engaging in a haram relationship, for abandoning all the knowledge we had of our religion. We have accepted and will accept every sort of punishment and continue to seek forgiveness in the hope that Allah will remove this unconditional love from our hearts and forgive all our flaws. Allahumma Ameen.
