I’m building Picklist because I got tired of watching good people get frustrated by simple problems.
In Kano, something as basic as finding a reliable trusted electrician, plumber, or building engineer can turn into a full-day struggle.
You ask around.
You get numbers.
Prices change.
Sometimes the person never shows up.
And yet, Kano is full of skilled, hardworking artisans and professional who want consistent work — but lack visibility, trust, and structure.
That disconnect stayed with me.
Picklist was born from a simple idea:
What if finding trusted local services was as easy as ordering food or booking a ride? make access to services easier, smarter and better in Kano.
Picklist.ng is building a service marketplace designed specifically for Kano’s skilled artisans and professional:
◎ Verified local service providers
◎ Clear pricing and ratings
◎ Location-based matching
◎ Faster, safer bookings for households and businesses.
But this isn’t just about convenience.
It’s about trust.
◉ It’s about income stability for artisans and Professionals.
◉ It’s about digitizing an informal economy without breaking it.
◉ We’re starting hyper-local, because real impact starts on the ground. Kano first. Then Northern Nigeria.
This journey won’t be easy — but it’s necessary.
If you’re: An investor who believes in solving real problems.
A partner interested in local commerce or job creation
An artisan who wants more visibility
Or simply someone who believes technology should work for everyone
Kano is the commercial heart of the North. It’s time its service sector had the technology to match its ambition.
I’m Saidu Musa, and I’m on a mission to make local services easier, smarter, and better.
I’d love to connect.
We’re just getting started.
