Wayas Declares Interest in CITN Council Seat, Seeks Members’ Support

A member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Dr. Jim Pam Wayas, has formally declared his intention to contest in the forthcoming council member election of the Institute.

Wayas, a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, said his decision to vie for the position was driven by a passion for service, professional excellence and a commitment to advancing the objectives of the Institute.

In a statement made available to members, he noted that he was inspired by the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the CITN and to support initiatives that would strengthen the profession.

According to him, his aspiration is anchored on collaboration, progressive engagement and the promotion of policies that would benefit members and enhance the Institute’s impact.

He expressed appreciation to colleagues and associates for their continued encouragement and support over the years, describing their confidence in him as a major source of motivation.

Wayas also appealed to members of the Institute for their support ahead of the election, while wishing them success in their professional and personal endeavours.
