Topic: LEADERSHIP: Responsibility and Rewards/Consequence
1Cor 9:
Leadership in the kingdom is an awesome privilege with great responsibility and rights and carries with it rewards and consequences. Leadership is more than a position.
However, beyond position, leadership is great responsibility. As leaders we must realise that God place us in a position but that's not responsible for taking you to the height you ought to.
Leadership has laws. Three laws are shown here.
1. The law of God
2. The law of Christ
3. The law of the body.
As New Testament leaders we can't afford to ignore these realities. Leadership has laws.
God's laws are overriding. They create the framework for your assignment.
The laws of Christ creates the scope of your assignment.
The laws of the body creates the structure of the assignment.
When you ignore them you get disqualified. Lost out of the reward system. Both the rewards and consequences are present and eternal. You become disqualified from enjoying both. You will make heaven as a child of God. But at the judgment seat of Christ you lose your medals.
Today God is calling us World Quakers to look inwards and reexamine our leadership. Are they in line with God's laws. Put your system in order. None will be asked to account for another man's responsibility. Your lot is up to you.
