SECONDARY EDUCATION NEEDS BETTER ATTENTION FROM FG AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS.
It is no longer news that the Nigerian minster of education, Prof.Tahir Mamman has reiterated the resolve of the administration of president BOLA AHMED TINUBU to reintroduce a more robust curriculum by September 2024. This is long overdue for our secondary schools in this modern age where new inventions come up almost on a daily basics.
The management of ROSEC CONSULTING LIMITED is one of our radio series tagged ROSEC ON RADIO has urged government to look into the issue of curriculum, poor library, deteriorating infrastructure, recruitment of highly unqualified teachers in many cases, poor renumeration across platforms and security of lives and properties in and around the school premises.
The management of ROSEC CONSULTING LIMITED in one of her radio enlightenment series on BREEZ 91.9FM tagged " ROSEC on RADIO" discussed this issue of school safety where a lot of factors were considered for a school to be safe for students, teachers and other visitors to the school environment but it's obvious government and other partners and stakeholders in the education sector are not paying adequate attention in achieving a safer school.
Considering the unfortunate event of a school collapse in Jos where students lost lives due to structural defects of a school building, government and other stakeholders should be blamed and make sure that steps to abate such occurrences are put in place.
