Bandits have made a ransom demand of 100 million naira for each of the 38 abducted members of the CAC church in Eruku, Kwara State.

According to reports from a reliable source, the kidnappers have initiated contact with the families of the victims, who were abducted during a church service on Tuesday. Chief Olusegun Olukotun, a community leader and Olori Eta of Eruku, confirmed this development on Thursday, November 20.

He stated that four of his relatives were among the kidnapped victims. Olukotun, who was in the church with five of his family members when the incident occurred, stated that he and one of his wards escaped the attack around 6:06 p.m. through the church's window.
The kidnappers have made contact with community members and are demanding 100 million naira as ransom for each of the 38 victims. "From what we gathered from the kidnappers' camp, they have grouped the victims according to their relations and are now calling our people through each of the groups.

Some people in the community have received calls from the kidnappers demanding 100 million naira for each person, but regarding my own people, I have not received any calls concerning them, so I am still waiting," he said.

No Religious Genocide Occuring In My State -- Venue state Gov.

Some weeks ago this alleged Rev. Father and governor of the state said there was a religious genocide in the state, but today he has changed the narrative.

👇
“In my state of Benue, we don’t have any religious, any ethnic, any racial, any national or state genoc!de. We don’t have that..

“I’m speaking to you as a reverend father in the church. I’m speaking to you as a governor of a state. If there were any, particularly in my state or any part of Nigeria, I would have been the very number one person to make a noise.”

But seems he's been compromised.
👇
On Wednesday, Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia denied claims that the state is experiencing religious genocide.

‘You’re a disgrace’ — Tuggar, Canadian politician grills Minister of Foreign affairs in Piers Morgan's show.

A heated exchange of words unfolded when Yusuf Tuggar minister of foreign affairs tried to paint it black as Goldie Ghamari former Canadian member of parliament gave it to him over the allegations of Christians persecution in Nigeria.

In the first 17 minutes of the interview, Morgan presented figures from the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) claiming over 50,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since 2009 and 18,000 churches destroyed.

Tuggar dismissed the figures as inaccurate and challenged the religious framing, saying the government does not tally deaths by faith and views all victims as Nigerians first.

After been pressed for numbers, the minister went on to claim that only 177 Christians were ki)(lled and 102 churches attacked in the last five years in Nigeria.

The seat became more heated for the minister when Morgan brought in Ghamari his second guest.
