Did you know, that honey bee must gather nectar from two millions flowers to make one pound of honey.

One bee has to fly about 90,000 miles three times around the globe to make one 1/12th of teaspoon of honey in it's lifetime.

The male honey bees ( also called drone ) have no stinger and do not work. All they do is mate.

Honey has always been highly regarded as medicine. It is thought to help with everything from sore throat and digestive disorder to skin problem and was historically used as a dressing for wounds and a first aid treatment for burns and cut.

The natural fruit sugars in honey - fructose and glucose are quickly digested by the body. This is why sportsmen and athletes use honey to give them natural energy boost.
