THE TWO TYPES OF GUESTS

"two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse gave up and drowned. But the second mouse wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that he churned the cream into butter and crawled out."

This little anecdote above explains the two kinds of guests that you'd find in a Nigerian event.

Some would struggle for food; and when it seems it would be in vain. They threaten to throw away the cooler of food if not served immediately.

Viola!

The food struggling guest gets a steaming plate of food.

They have churned the cream into butter and crawled out.

When some ask for food and are not attended to, they pretend that they are not even hungry. They end up salivating at the sight of another person's plate of food. The one that came as a result of her threat of the god of Iron killing all the stewards if they don't get served.

At many Nigerian events, there is this desire to take a picture with the celebrants. This happens at weddings.

That picture with the blushing bride and handsome groom! Everyone craves for that.

The genesis of issues is when the photographer denies someone a shot with the celebrants. Only group pictures please! He yells. This forces people to lose hope. And there is nothing more damaging than the loss of hope.

This loss of hope is a struggle. And it would differentiate the two kinds of guests.

There would be that person who will threaten to break his camera if (s)he doesn't take a picture with the celebrants. This forces the photographer to decipher what his best line of action is.

A camera or a photo.

He makes his decision with a perfect shot of such persons and the celebrants.

Then of course, there is that person who after his request was turn down, walks off. This person is not interested in causing a scene.

And who are they?
The guests!

Nigerian events are a struggle.
The line between sanity and insanity is a very thin one. And you get prepared for such by signing up with to give you the best of delivery.
