Happy Sunday, everyone.
During service today, we were reminded that the pain of what we go through is often not the event itself, but our perception of it. The heart can hold bitterness, and it can also hold joy. What it carries is shaped over time.
There is a call to live for something higher. Mission will require you to swallow certain pains, but it gives meaning to the journey. As believers, we are not to define our lives by the standards of the world.
If you truly desire deep joy, you must also be willing to walk through deep seasons.
We pray that your heart is guarded from bitterness, filled with joy, and aligned with God’s purpose for your life.
