Yesterday 15th September, 2024 at about 1:05 PM, Some police officers from Crack Squard in a white hilux that has its spare tire at the back, accousted a young man in company of his mechanic as they were driving to the mechanic workshop along Nox club by Niger foundation hospital, independent layout, Enugu. They stopped him, asked him to come down from his car, and they took his phone and that of his mechanic.

They were thrown into the hilux, and another police officer drove his car in the company of the other police officers who drove behind them. Their first question to the young man was who owns the car, he said he's the one, they asked him how much he bought the car, he told them and they said he will give them 500,000 naira. He told them he doesn't have such money in his bank account ane they started threatening to kill him and lay accusations on him as a criminal., all this was happening while they were driving to their office at Golf Estate close to New Market.

The young man became scared and promised to give them 100,000 naira. They later insisted on 200,000, which the young man said he couldn't afford as at that time. They took him to a POS very close to their office at Crack Squad to make a withdrawal after they agreed to collect the 100,000 naira from him. They young man was having a cash of 20,000 already. So, he went to the POS to withdraw 70,000. Unfortunately, he was only able to withdraw 50,000 naira plus the cash of 20,000 he was already with, making it a total of 70,000 naira. While he was trying to withdraw 30k and network was disturbing, they called him and told him to bring the 70,000naira he has already withdrawn, they collected this money, gave him back his phone and his car key and drove towards their office entrance and asked the young man to go.

Please sir, we plead you identify these men who's tarnishing the image of the Nigerian Police Force so they can refund the money and disciplinary actions be taken on them.

BBI, Respect Human Rights.

Sequel to our last meeting at the State CID with the OC in charge of the case and the two parties involved with their lawyers and human rights volunteer corps who came in their defence.

Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, the Enugu Chapter team, who were present that day, came up with a resolution to resolve the matter after police have already prepared a suite to send the matter to court. But Human Rights Volunteer Corps submitted their dissatisfaction following how police previously handled the matter and they jointly agreed to revert back to us whether to adopt our resolution or adopt the resolution of the police by taking the matter to court which I advised is not the best option because of the parties involved and what actually transpired.

This invitation above is from Human Rights Volunteer Corps in respect of our agreement with them.

Please, we are all expected to be at this meeting on the said date and time as stated on the invitation.

"The more you attend interventions, the more you learn and gather more experiences that would be of great benefit to you."

THE PRESIDENCY
OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER (NSA),

THE CHAIRMAN (PSC),
POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION
ABUJA,

THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE (IGP)
FORCE HEADQUARTERS
ABUJA,

TO ALL DIG'S
THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE
FORCE HEADQUARTERS
ABUJA,

PETITION PETITION PETITION AGAINST CP KENECHUKWU ABIA STATE COMMISSIONERS OF POLICE FOR UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND LACK OF TACTICAL INTELLIGENCE TO FIGHT CRIME

That it is deeply concerning and tragic of the unprofessional conduct and lack of capacity to lead a state command against CP Kenechukwu of Abia state, which has allegedly resulted in the death of five (5) police officers in ten days in Abia state Were two were killed at the Enugu Porthacourt Express way Ubakala Dustbin point and one of the inspector killed in that Attack is attached to CP Es**rt and Three Officers from RRS Abia state, Go and verify.

This incident represents a significant failure of leadership and a breach of the trust that the public places in the police as a leading institution and other law enforcement officials in Abia state working with fear of being killed which has increased the crime statistic in Abia state. Go and verify.

That on Assumption to office CP kenechukwu for over more than one year now the only Achievement he has is him trusting only himself and hunting senior police officers from DCP to supols Example via: CSP Johnbull formal Commander RRS Abia state who forth kidnapping/Armed Robbery and IPOB for justice and maintained peace in Aba and Abia state chasing those criminals out of Abia state, was threatened out of the state with Bad name and went further to Destabilised the ABIA state police command by Disbanding the TACTICAL Units like CP CRACK SQUAD and three other TACTICAL UNITS and kept all those senior officers from the Rank of CSP to ASP on standby at Dop's office state headquarters Umuahia under the supervision of DCP OKORO Ops for more than Nine months now without posting, and posted the Rank and file out tointerior villages on punishment ground which resulted this Hoodlums gaining their grips, ground and returned back to Aba/Abia state which has caused the death of over 20 police officers with losing Arms and Ammunition to this Hoodlums without trace or effort to recover back those Arms and Ammunition. Now that RRS has been dislodged in Abia which unit or team will respond to Distress call. Go and verify.

It is clear without fear or favour that Any individuals in public office if found to have acted unprofessionally or with a lack of capacity to fulfill their leadership responsibilities should be held accountable for their Actions or inactions. How can CP Kenechukwu post out women police to the Roads of the state in the nights to mount Road blocks with Vigilantee at the critical time like this of insecurity in the South East Endengering thier life's without fear that this women can be a victim to this Hoodlums. Pls were is the intelligence and integrity of this police commissioner, Go and verify.

Additionally, That the police officers in The south East and Abia state must also be protected from violence or harm Which CP kenechukwu has failed in his Assignment without any experience causing over (100) senior police officers, Inspectors Rank & file to work Thier transfers out of Abia state freely and over (500) Senior Officers and Ranks are working Thier transfer to go out from Abia state because who will be the next to die in Abia state. Go and verify

The death of the police officers is a tragedy incident could have been averted and should not be taken lightly and be dealt seriously and forthwith. It is essential that all those involved in law enforcement in Abia state work to rebuild trust with the community and take appropriate steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

We are calling on you the National security Adviser (NSA) PSC and IGP to Immediately Redeploy the INEXPERIENCED Commissioner of police Abia state CP Kenechukwu to force Headquarters Abuja and send a vibrant Commissioner of police like CP IGWE FCT or CP DISU Rivers state to come and track down this Hoodlums recover our Arms and Ammunition and bring back the lost Glory in Abia state. Go and Verify.
