Let us look at the book.
• Cost of buying the goods: 35 Million.
• Shop Rent: 5 Million.
• Staff Salary: 5 Million.
• Diesel and LESA: 2 Million.
• Marketing and Branding: 2 Million.
• Total Expenses: 49 Million.
Profit: 1 Million.
So for a whole year, you worked for 1 Million Naira?
That is less than 100k a month.
My brother, you are not a businessman.
You are a philanthropist.
You are working for your landlord. You are working for your staff.
You are working for the supplier.
But you are not working for yourself.
Stop looking at the turnover. That big number is vanity.
Look at the bottom line. That small number is the reality.
It is better to sell 10 Million and keep 3 Million, than to sell 50 Million and keep 1 Million.
