DRAGGED TO THE DEEP AND SWALLOWED BY SILENCE: THE HORROR OF DROWNING 😰🌫️
What Really Happens When You Drown🤔
1️⃣ Panic and Breath-Holding 😱💦When someone slips underwater, the first reaction is panic. They instinctively hold their breath to keep water out. But as seconds pass, carbon dioxide builds up in the blood
2️⃣ The Throat Slams Shut and The Person Faints, The vocal cords react by clamping tightly to protect the lungs — a reflex called laryngospasm. No water gets in…But no air gets in either Oxygen drops quickly,With almost no oxygen, the person becomes dizzy 😵,confused and then unconscious,This usually happens within 1–2 minutes.
3️⃣ Throat Opens Again, Once unconscious, the tight throat muscles relax. Now water can finally enter the lungs freely 🌊.
4️⃣ Lungs Fill With Water, Water floods the air sacs and washes away surfactant, the slippery fluid that keeps the lungs open. Without it, the lungs collapse ❌🫁and oxygen can no longer enter the blood 🩸
5️⃣ Heart Struggles and Fails
The heart tries to keep pumping, but with no oxygen, the heartbeat becomes irregular, brain cells begin dying 🧠, then the heart stops completely , This is cardiac arrest.
‼️The Final Cause of Death
Drowning kills because the body is starved of oxygen 💨, lungs are filled with water, and the heart stops from oxygen loss 💔
🌬️ But There Is Hope
If rescued quickly — within minutes — CPR can restart breathing and the heart 🚑 Cold water can even protect the brain for a short
time ❄️🧠

🚨 Your phone is probably dirtier than your toilet seat.
Shocking? It shouldn't be.
Think about it:
📱 You touch your phone after using the toilet, while eating, on public transport, in class, at work, and even before going to bed. Yet, many people clean it less often than they clean their toilet.
Studies have found that phones can harbour thousands of bacteria because they come into constant contact with our hands and faces. While many of these microbes are harmless, some can contribute to the spread of germs that cause illness.
Protect yourself with these simple habits:
✅ Wipe your phone regularly with a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe or a microfiber cloth recommended for electronics.
✅ Wash your hands before eating and after using the restroom.
✅ Avoid taking your phone into the bathroom whenever possible.
Your phone goes everywhere with you.
Maybe it's time your cleaning routine did too.
💬 Be honest... when was the last time you cleaned your phone?

Do not put cotton buds in your ears.
Your ears cleanse themselves when you chew or yawn.
Using cotton buds can push wax back into your ear and rupture your eardrum.
And let me make this clear to you:
EAR WAX IS NOT DIRT!
Earwax actually keeps your ear free from tiny insects and dirt because it is acidic and helps prevent fungi from growing in your ear.
So removing your wax might actually do more harm than good.
Even if you think you have earwax buildup that needs removal, please don't attempt to remove it yourself. Let your health provider do it for you.
