So, I entered Aba today—our own hustle HQ. As we approached St Michael's by Asa Road to visit a friend, I saw something that left me reflecting deeply on life.

There it was: a clean Lexus RX 350 SUV parked majestically. But the owner wasn’t chilling or doing "big boy" things o. Instead, they had turned the car bonnet into a mini-market, displaying bend-down-select shoes for sale.

It was at that moment I realized: this life is truly not that serious! Some people are buying cars just to cruise on Sundays, attending owambe and spraying naira at weddings.

Meanwhile, others are using the same "status symbol" as a shoe rack. If a Lexus RX 350 can end up as a boutique extension, who am I to stress over any material thing?

Take new phones, for example. When the iPhone 13 Pro Max came out, everybody was rushing it like hot puff-puff. Some people even sold their land to buy it.

Fast forward to now, the iPhone 15 is out, and guess what? The Pro Max of yesterday is now the "Nokia 3310" of today. Next thing, your iPhone 15 will be considered outdated too.

So, why kill yourself because of a gadget that will become a museum exhibit in five years?

Abi is it cars? Remember when Toyota Camry "Muscle" was the king of Nigerian roads? If you didn’t own one, you’d be forming loyalty to keke.

Today, "Muscle" is now an Uber favorite. In two years, it may join danfo fleets.

This life lesson is simple: enjoy your journey without carrying unnecessary pressure.

Someone is using a Lexus to sell shoes, and another is sitting at home crying because they don’t have a car yet.

Someone is still rocking an iPhone 7 and thriving, while another is sweating to buy iPhone 15 and wondering why the camera doesn’t fix their relationship.

At the end of the day, na person wey dey alive dey enjoy. No let material things run your life this festive period.

Na your happiness first o, because these things na vanity—whether bend-down-select or brand new!
