The Katagum Students' Association, ABU Zaria Chapter, welcomes you all back to campus and wishes you all the best for the new session.

The Katagum Student's Association, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Chapter, is excited to announce the commencement of registration for the highly anticipated Katagum Hackathon 1.0. This transformative event aims to empower students by enhancing their leadership skills, fostering innovation, and nurturing problem-solving abilities. Interested teams of two students from various institutions are invited to register through the online portal at https://forms.office.com/r/EvcGabLLDm. The registration window will be open for one week. As part of the program, a week-long virtual leadership training will be provided, focusing on the significance of innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Following the training, participating teams will choose from two intriguing problem statements and work towards developing innovative solutions. Written proposals must be submitted within three days, and the top ten teams will be selected by a panel of experienced judges. These teams will qualify for the pitch session held on the event day. The Katagum Hackathon 1.0 will culminate in an exciting event, taking place as follows;

*Time*; 8:00am-2;00pm,
*Venue*: COASU hall,Aminu Saleh collage of education Azare.

The event will feature final pitches from the qualified teams to a distinguished panel of judges, industry experts, and enthusiastic attendees. Generous prizes will be awarded, with the winning team receiving N40,000, the first runner-up N30,000, and the second runner-up N20,000. All members of the public, distinguished guests, universities faculties, and fellow students are invited to join in celebrating innovation and supporting the remarkable teams.
