EIII!! FATHER BERNARD ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ !!
The catch phrase from the trending memes of people falling down.. the story behind it๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

Father Bernard was a Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Church, Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly in the Central Region of Ghana.

According to testimonies by friends and family, he was loved by all, no wonder, the woman captured in the viral video paid her late respect to the Priest in a grand style.

News of the passing of this parish priest was confirmed by the Vicar General of the Arch diocese. According to reports, Father Bernard died of an undisclosed illness at the cape coast Teaching hospital after he was rushed there in the evening of Tuesday, February 21 2023 and subsequently laid to rest a month later on March 21st

The woman that was captured falling inside his grave shouting " eiii Father Bernard ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ !!" was a widow who was taken care of by the Departed Padre when all her relatives abandoned her, he even took care of her and paid her bills when she was hospitalized, she couldn't control her emotions ๐Ÿ’” during the burial hence that display.

Father Bernard was loved by all and sundry as he could be seen always spending time with the youths, teaching them, always evangelising, did a lot of charitable works for people.
He was an example and source of inspiration to many that knew and encountered him. The less privileged and widows really benefited from his magnanimity.

โ€œFather Bernard helped me. I have a problem so he is the one who was my support system. He helped me navigate life after my broken heart. He also helped my father when he was alive. I didnโ€™t know what came over me that day but his death had a toll on me and I did that in his memory,โ€ the lady behind the viral video speaking..

โ€œThe truth is , Bernard was a bread winner to the orphan, hope to the depressed, joy to the sad and inspiration to all who encountered himโ€, ...one of his congregant professing

Another of his congregant speaking...

โ€œ My brother, Rev. Fr. Bernard Kofi Annan Ackon was buried on the 21st of March, 2023 in the soil of our Alma mata-The St. Teresa's Seminary, Aminsano close to Elmina in the Central Region of Ghana.
I prayed that the Angels consider his act of goodness and kindness to grant him same as he was good and kind on earth. You could see Jesus his master in him.The Heavens can testify.โ€

MAY THE SOUL OF FR. BERNARD CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE ...๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜“

Hence it's actually a sad story of a loved and very dear parish priest. Do you think it's ok the way the memes are trending as a way of perpetuating the Reverend's name and remembering him or do you think the memes are disrespectful to his humble and loving legacies? Let's hear your thoughts...
