As a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), I had the pleasure of attending the party’s 107th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja, meeting with other notable personalities and party faithfuls in preparation for the party’s forthcoming National Convention. I am commending the work of the planning committee, specifically lauding the Convention Planning Committee chaired by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, former Governor of Abia State. Its efforts are commendable and indicative of a well-organized convention process.

Speaking ahead of the PDP National Convention scheduled for march 29th and 30th, I'm calling on all Nigerians to rally support for the Peoples Democratic Party, stressing that the party remains committed to internal democracy and credible leadership. I'm optimistic that the Ikpeazu-led committee will deliver a peaceful and transparent convention capable of producing trusted party faithful to steer the affairs of the party ahead of future elections.
