If you don't have business with the Boko Haram, you must have business with human lives that are being killed like insects. The victims are poor people in the other part of the country that you may not live to see them but, they are part of your own lives. You may be claiming to be a Yoruba or Igbo living far away but, you forgot to remember that these victims are the same farmers that are providing our confectionaries with grains for cereals, etc, which you easily pick in your supermarkets. Ask companies like Nestle and Cadburys if their supplies are still normal since the beginning of the BH crisis. Do you know that 85% of the cows that are being slaughtered in all the abattoirs that exist in the Southern parts of Nigeria are from the North Eastern States? This is to remind you that, it is not the IBBs, the Atikus, the Sarkin Kanos, etc that are rearing these cows, but the same victims that the Boko Harams are slaughtering every minutes. You may doubt this but, you are free to ask anyone this questions. How true is it that at some points in our lives as Northerners, almost one family out of 5 is involved in cattle rearing? It is this subconscious effort that continued to fuel in the supplies you have in all your abattoirs. If you still don't get it, ask the likes of Tinubu, Smith (former IGP) and the Oba of Lagos that owned the Companies that are and will be managing the Lagos Abattoir for the next 30years to tell you how they make over N10 Million on daily basis. As they are enjoying this business, they have planned to be exporting meats to Dubai courtesy the cows coming from the Boko Haram dominated regions.
I am compelled to make critical assertion or allegation here. When the Boko Haram crisis was intensified in the North East, the issue of cattle marauders (stealing of cows) in the North West was also intensified, what a logical demand! Could this be some form of desperation to keep the supply of cows to the markets by all means?
NOW, MOST OF THESE CITIZENS THAT HAVE LESS BUSINESS WITH GOVERNMENT PROJECTS YET, WORKING THROUGH OUT THEIR LIVES TO FEED WE THAT LIVED IN FAR PLACES AND CITIES ARE NOW IN IDP CAMPS WITH NO ROOF ON THEIR HEADS, NO FOOD AND NO CLOTHES. ALL WE DO IS TO PRETEND THAT WE HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH WHAT GOES ON OUT THERE?
