FAMILY GOD, FAMILY FAITH, FAMILY DESTINY
On this Friday morning, God wants you to focus on your salvation and that of your whole family. Get rid of any idol in your life or family, do away with any ‘household god’ that is not Jehovah. You cannot serve two masters. Make Christ the Lord of your family and be sure that every family member knows Him and the power of His resurrection.
*“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” “And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.” “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said (to him), Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also”(Exodus 20:3; 1 Kings 16:30-31; Joshua 24:15; Acts 16:30b-31; 2 Timothy 1:5).*
I pray for you this morning, that you will have the faith and the courage to get rid of any idol or fe**sh item that you may have acquired or inherited from your forebears and relatives. I pray that your desire for wealth and power will not lead you into idolatry and eternal damnation. May you lead your family in the path of righteousness and make Christ the Lord and master of your life and family. May the word of God bring light to your family and set high moral and godly standards for you and every member of your household. Your family faith in the living God will be passed from generation to generation. Your family faith and faithfulness will give you all great generational blessings and testimonies, and take you to a common destiny where you will spend eternity with God, in Jesus name. Amen.

TAKE THE LEAD
On this Thursday morning, God wants you to leave the company of murmurers, grumblers, fault finders and blamers. He also wants to move you away from being a mere onlooker or benchwarmer. God was you to rise up, take charge, be a leader and solution provider. Join others to fix things that are wrong, and make your family, Church, community, nation and the world a much better place.
*“And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them...” “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”(Deuteronomy 28:13; Isaiah 58:12; Jeremiah 1:10; Matthew 5:14; 18:18).*
I pray for you this morning, that you will be endowed with confidence, courage, wisdom and faith in God, that you may rise up from being an underdog to become a servant-leader. Where others see only problems, the Lord will give you inspiration and revelation to see the solutions. The Lord will give you knowledge, wisdom and skills to inspire others to repose confidence in you and follow your lead. You will excel in your work and have great accomplishments. The Lord will lift you up and magnify you, that none will be able to undermine your authority or dishonor you. God will reward your humble services, and take you to the top, and make you the head, in Jesus name. Amen.
