Vortex Entertainment has announced ZAAMINAR, a forthcoming superhero title that draws on Hausa history and regional mythology to frame a new narrative within its expanding universe.
The story follows Ibrahim Shehu, a young man who acquires storm-based abilities after encountering an ancient artefact linked to the historic Durbi Takusheyi site. The project situates its narrative across both contemporary and pre-colonial Northern Nigeria, incorporating influences from figures such as Bayajidda and Queen Amina.
