Why we want 300,000 low-income Nigerians to become landlords 07/03/2021

COVID-19 brought untold economic hardship on the livelihoods of many Nigerians. To alleviate this sufferings, the Federal Government under the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) proposed to build 300, 000 low-income mass housing units across the federation including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The idea is to create 1.8 million jobs around the construction value chain, lift low-income earning Nigerians most whom are currently living in slums from poverty line, as well as reduce the huge deficit currently bedeviling housing development in the country.
