When you see lightening, you make some funny sound with your lips before the thunder sound comes, believing that the sound you make will avert any damage which the incoming thunder strike can cause. 🤣🤣.
And a few seconds later , the thunder sound is now head and you begin to rejoice that you have successfully neutralized the thunder from striking you🤣.
My dear if the thunder really intended to faya you, you won't even see the flashing 🤣 because both the thunder sound and the flash happen same time.

You see the flash first because LIGHT TRAVELS FASTER THAN SOUND IN AIR.
While light travels at about 300 million meters in one second, sounds only struggles to cover lower than 400 meters per second. So the thunder flash light reaches the earth before the sound..

So, next time you see a lightning, relax! Thunder will not faya you 🤣.
