Human rights defender, Inibehe Effiong, Friday walked out of Uyo Correctional Centre after spending 30 days on contempt charges. The Akwa Ibom State Chief Judge, Ekaette Obot, had on July 27, sentenced Mr. Effiong to jailafter he objected to the presence of armed policemen in the courtroom. Mr. Effiong, who was billed to be released at 6am, finally walked into freedom at about 8am....
