Dear parents,
Our Saturday Group in Tweens Book Club is wrapping up on the book _Pollyanna_ by Eleanor H. Porter.
3 main lessons the children are taking away:
*1. Optimism with purpose*
Through the “Glad Game,” they’re learning to spot hope and gratitude, even when things are tough. This not just about pretending problems don’t exist, it's about being truly grateful.
*2. Kindness changes people*
We have seen how Pollyanna shows genuine interest and how her small acts of kindness soften hard hearts, connecting a whole community.
*3. Seeing value in others*
The children are challenged to look past first impressions and grumpiness, and find the good in everyone. For me, this is so important.
It’s been a sweet, hopeful read with really meaningful conversations.
We’re moving on to our next book soon 📖
