ABSU SENATE APPROVES COMMENCEMENT OF 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Senate of Abia State University, at its 278th Regular meeting on 26th February 2025, approved the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, 3rd March 2025, when all fresh students are expected to arrive.

Old students will return on Saturday, 8th March 2025, while First Semester Lectures will commence on Monday, 10th March 2025.

Additionally, the movement of the Faculties of Law and Agriculture from the Umuahia location to the main campus, Uturu, will take effect at the end of the First Semester.

Only bonafide students who have paid their fees and registered their courses will be eligible to enjoy university facilities.

Students, parents, and the public are advised to take note.
