Abia State Government is still unable to complete a single digital bus stop—a project they loudly advertised online as part of their “modern transformation agenda.” Today, what stands on ground is an embarrassing shell: abandoned, dusty, incomplete, and far from the glossy pictures they pushed on social media.
This is the true face of a government built on promises and online propaganda—projects that exist on Facebook more than they exist in real life. Abians were promised innovation, but what we see are empty frames and failed commitments.
If a simple digital bus stop cannot be completed after two years, what hope is there for bigger developmental projects? Governance is not photo ops and hashtags. Abia State deserves leadership that delivers, not leaders who keep deceiving the people with audio projects.
Abians are watching, and the truth on ground is louder than any online PR.
“New Abia” is still busy patching roads, yet they keep selling the narrative of transformation. Real development isn’t about sprinkling asphalt on bad roads or rushing cosmetic repairs for the camera. Abians deserve durable, well-planned road construction—not patches that wash away after the next rainfall. Governance should be about long-term solutions, not short-term publicity. If this is the ‘New Abia’ we were promised, then the government needs to sit up and deliver real infrastructure, not surface-level fixes.
