🙏 Episcopal Ordination Novena – Day 5: A Teacher of the Gospel

Today we pray that Bishop-elect Msgr. Linus Ngenomesho, OMI may faithfully proclaim the Gospel with wisdom, clarity, and compassion. May his preaching inspire conversion, strengthen faith, and lead many people closer to Christ.

“Preach the word; be persistent whether the time is favourable or unfavourable.” — 2 Timothy 4:2

Today we pray that Bishop-elect Msgr. Linus Ngenomesho, OMI may always be guided by the Holy Spirit in his ministry. May the Spirit grant him wisdom, understanding, courage, and the grace to lead God’s people with faith, love, and truth.

“The Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.” — John 14:26

🙏 Episcopal Ordination Novena – Day 2: The Heart of the Good Shepherd

Today we pray that Bishop-elect Msgr. Linus Ngenomesho, OMI may be formed after the heart of Christ, the Good Shepherd. May the Holy Spirit fill him with compassion, wisdom, courage, and a deep love for God’s people, especially the poor, the sick, and those searching for hope.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” — John 10:11

ORDINATION NOVENA PRAYER

Today we join the Apostolic Vicariate of Rundu in praying the Nine-Day Novena in preparation for the Episcopal Ordination of Msgr. Linus Ngenomesho, OMI, who will be ordained Bishop on Saturday, 18 July 2026.

We invite all the faithful to join us in prayer during these nine days. Let us pray earnestly that God may guide Bishop-elect Linus and fill him with the gifts of the Holy Spirit as he prepares to serve the Church with wisdom, humility, and love.

May this novena also be a time of spiritual renewal for each one of us as we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our own lives.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.
