Our Daily Bread

✝️ Wishing you a holy Corpus Christi. Today, parts of the Christian community commemorate the Feast of Corpus Christi, celebrated 60 days after Easter or the Thursday after Trinity Sunday.

Its purpose is to remember the Eucharist, the Last Supper or Holy Communion (Mark 14:22-25) when Jesus broke bread and took wine with his disciples before His death. Let’s give thanks for the institution of the Holy Communion and remember our Lord's sacrifice for us on the Cross.

“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” –1 Corinthians 11:25
