We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our

🐱We’re not sure how Brisket is still waiting🥹

Behind this handsome face and stunning green eyes, is a young cat with a big personality. Brisket is playful, curious, social, and endlessly entertaining. He loves exploring, making new cat friends, and turning everyday moments into adventures.

However, he's not only playful but he also has the softest heart and loves being close to the people he trusts. He follows his foster mom around like a shadow and loves nothing more than a cozy nap together.

Meet Tapatio 🐾

Many of you may recognize this handsome boy. Tapatio was rescued alongside his three siblings when they were just tiny, spicy little kittens. Over a year later, he has grown into a sweet and quirky young cat with a personality all his own.

Tapatio can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, his goofy side comes shining through. He loves snacks, enjoys affection, and has a way of making his favorite humans feel extra special. From his funny expressions to his playful antics, there's never a dull moment with him around.

Sadly, Tapatio is the only one of his siblings still waiting for a home. He hasn't done anything wrong—he simply keeps getting overlooked while his brothers have all found their families.

One of our favorite things about Tapatio is his many expressions. He's full of character, and every photo seems to capture a different side of his personality! Which Tapatio do you relate to the most? Let us know in the comments below. 💛

And if Tapatio has captured your heart, we would be so grateful if you would consider adopting him. If you're not in a position to adopt, sharing his post could make all the difference. His future family might be just one share away. 🏡

A few weeks ago, we were still hoping for a different answer. When Okra started getting sick, losing weight, and becoming less like himself, we went through the same thoughts that so many cat pawrents know all too well. Maybe it was something simple. Maybe there was another explanation.

This past Sunday, Okra had his follow-up appointment, and we finally got our answer. The medication is working. And because it is working, we now know that Okra does have FIP.

No matter how much we suspected it, hearing those letters was still difficult. No one ever wants to hear that diagnosis. At the same time, there was relief. For weeks, we knew something was wrong but not exactly what we were fighting. Now we do, and we know what comes next.

Okra will continue his medication, and for now we are taking things one day at a time, one dose at a time, and one small step at a time.

One of the biggest concerns leading up to his medication trial was a change in his mobility. Okra had developed a noticeably wobbly gait, which immediately raised alarm bells for us and his vet team. Because this can be associated with neurological FIP, we decided not to wait and began a medication trial as quickly as possible.

Looking back, we are incredibly grateful that we acted when we did. Within a short time of starting treatment, we began seeing subtle but meaningful improvements. Those early changes gave us hope and ultimately helped confirm what we were dealing with.

Right now, Okra weighs 3.6 kg, and closely monitoring his weight is an important part of his treatment. Because FIP medication is dosed by body weight, his dose will need to increase as he gains weight. Since Okra has neurological FIP, he is already on a higher dose than cats with other forms of the disease.

We know this journey is far from over, but today we are holding on to gratitude. Grateful that we caught this when we did, that treatment is helping, and that so many of you have shown up for Okra through donations, shares, kind messages, and love.

Please keep sending him strength. We will keep fighting for him every single day. 🧡

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kami 🥰 She’s the latest intake into our network and like our promise to each of our rescues, we will do our utmost best to find her her forever home and family 🙏🏽

Kami was a former TNR, living alone on the streets for a few years. We learned about Kami recently and how her feeder diligently fed her daily thru the gate/barrier of the condo where Kami called home, because her feeder is not a resident at that condo. Seeing how friendly Kami is with her feeder (video), we made the decision to get Kami off the streets and kickstart her journey to her forever home.

Kami is around 3 years old, a beautiful tortie and petite in size. She’s spayed (of course!), vaccinated and negative for FIV and FeLV. Kami is still adjusting to living indoors so she’s rather shy but upon visiting her at her foster home, we see improvements in her adjustment progress and we’re hopeful that she’ll open up soon.

If you’re keen to learn more about Kami and consider adopting her, please send us a DM. Please help share Kami’s post and help her find her forever home! ❤️
