Small steps, big dreams

Today, I invited Coach Ah Liang from Sarawak to lead our training session.
I planned this on purpose — to let the players experience a different coaching style and learn something new.
It was meant to be a gesture of respect and growth.

But what happened during training truly disappointed me.
Some players were distracted, ignored instructions, and showed no discipline at all.
It was as if the word “coach” meant nothing to them.

If you can’t even show basic respect as a human being, how can you expect to grow?

I scolded them hard — not out of anger,
but because without respect, even the best skills are empty.

Coach Ah Liang came all the way here to share his knowledge — that’s trust.
Always remember: Respecting others is where your own greatness begins.

今天，我让来自沙捞越的阿良教练带一场训练，
这是我刻意安排的机会，想让球员们接触不同风格、不同经验的教练，
也是一种尊重与学习的态度。

但训练过程中，有些球员的表现让我非常失望。
不专注、不听指令、态度散漫，
完全没有把“教练”两个字放在眼里。

身而为人，连最基本的尊重都没有，你要怎么成长？

今天我骂得很重，不是为了发泄情绪，
而是因为——如果一个人连尊重都不会，
再强的球技也只是空壳。

阿良教练愿意从远方来分享经验，是对我们的信任，
请记住：尊重别人，是成就自己的开始。
