I THOUGHT THAT ALL SOCKS WERE THE SAME MATERIAL 😱🤔

Hi everyone! 👋🏻 Did you know that these socks have many types of fabric? Each material is suitable for the place to be worn. For example, there are socks for sports which cannot be worn on formal occasions, or there are also materials that are not suitable for wearing while hiking.

Why don't we look at 👇🏻 five different materials in socks that exist in Socks World? Let's go!

1. Cotton - naturally absorbent and lightweight as well as solid material. It improves flexibility and durability when used with polyester or nylon. Cotton socks are fine for casual and formal wear but not suitable for sporting because they retain moisture and odour, which can cause blisters and fungus.

2. Wool - famous, like cotton socks. Wool absorbs more moisture and odour than cotton. It keeps you warm, that is why it's worn more in winter. Wool is comfy, breathable, water-resistant, wrinkle-resistant, and shape-retaining. Wool socks are great for hiking 🧗🏻

3. Bamboo - extracted from the fast-growing, natural plant. Bamboo is softer and more breathable than cotton, and its surface has a natural sheen, so it almost resembles the feel of silk or cashmere. Bamboo socks can be worn at any time for casual and sports purposes.

4. Synthetic - absorb moisture, dry fast and keep the feet fresh. So, these socks have been recommended to be used for day-to-day activities, compared to cotton, wool, or bamboo. Also, synthetic socks are stretchy. So, they fit the feet well and sit well.

5. Silk - made from the protein fibres of silkworms. It is smooth, soft, and light and absorbs moisture. Silk socks are also good at keeping your feet warm. So, they are used in the winter and are sometimes mixed with synthetic fibres in socks.
