Art is in every single aspect of our life, just sometimes we forget it was there, in the garden around us, in the textiles we wear, in the sky. The visit of one of my most beloved friends, my Giu, gave me the perfect excuse to visit a friend I made during the Textile Expo of Puebla, and to be awed by the outstanding work he is doing to preserve the traditional textiles of my town. I think we have arrived at the time in the world where people are starting to understand the value of handmade things, and I’m not talking about souvenirs, but the real craftsmanship behind the things we think are ordinary and that require extraordinary effort to create them. Detailed built, studied designed, slowly created. Those are the new standards of luxury and the perfect reason to support and most probably create something together.

Out of all the paths life has brought me the one to Serbia was made by the invitation from this great individual, the one and only Migi. We do not realize the possible big or small impact our actions have on others' lives but I have to admit that coming to Serbia changed my path forever. That is something to be grateful for… BNS
