Apostle Priscilla Mgala, President of Agape Life Church International, has today 23 May 2026, swore in and commissioned newly appointed committee members for the upcoming 40th Anniversary of Agape Life Church International scheduled for 2027, at ALCI headquarters in Zingwangwa Blantyre.

In her remarks, the Woman of God stated that reaching 40 years is a significant milestone. According to Apostle Mgala, ALCI began with only 15 members holding prayers in a house on 8 February 1987, and has since grown across the nation and in several countries around the world.

“When a baby is born, it grows. Upon reaching 40, it becomes mature. It is the same with Agape Life Church International. We have only come this far because of God,” she said.

Apostle Mgala also encouraged synergy among the committee members.

“I am hopeful that the newly appointed team will embrace the spirit of unity as they coordinate and execute their duties to ensure a fruitful event,” she declared.

The Apostle further appealed to all ALCI believers to fully support the steering committee in delivering a successful 40th Anniversary celebration.

Speaking during his acceptance speech, appointed Chairperson of the committee, Elder Gaius Chaloledwa, Coordinator of Agape Life Church Intl, International Worship Centre affirmed his commitment to lead the committee with integrity, transparency, and a servant’s heart, ensuring that every role is fulfilled and every voice is heard.

“I ask for your prayers, patience, participation, and unity. May this event not only be a celebration, but a blueprint for the future God has for Agape Life Church International,” he said.

Agape Life Church International was founded on 8 February 1987 and will mark its 40th anniversary in 2027.
