In 1998, the band dismantled for some time and by mid 2000 I (Ahmed, band leader) again brought Faisal, Kalaam, Ibbe, Aarif and Shazin (bass guitar) and continued to perform in streets and private parties at houses. In 2004 “ZING” name was registered as a band and had legal recognition to make our own music and in 2005 “KHIYAAR” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj47iS-yq9g) song was made and recorded. Again in 2006 the band got dismantled and all the members went separate ways. Most of them started family and settled down. And all members except me (Ahmed, band leader) were too busy to practice music. In 2010, I (Ahmed, band leader) got an offer to make a song for the occasion of the “International Year of Biodiversity 2010” by the Environment ministry. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6Kn89UQQc4)
In the past years, ZING band has made several original songs and most of it had not been recorded but I (Ahmed, band leader) hope to record the songs in near future
