📢 Statement Regarding Maldives Motorsport Governance

We wish to express our serious concern regarding the recent actions taken by the Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation in its correspondence with the FIA and FIM.

The manner in which these communications were handled lacks transparency and raises questions about due process and fairness. These decisions have regrettably led to the FIM affiliation being placed under re-evaluation and the FIA looking further into this issue.

We believe these actions have undermined the development of motorsports in the Maldives and negatively impacted the athletes and community who rely on stable international affiliations.

We call for clarity , accountability and a constructive path forward to safeguard the future of motorsport in our country.
