Luna was around 3 when we started looking for a horse experience that was more than just walking in circles on a pony and that’s when we found RMJ - Rehome. Rehabilitate. Rescue. Not only was it a huge upgrade from the farms we had visited before, but we also felt like we found something truly meaningful.

They’re a horse rescue farm where retired and injured racehorses find shelter instead of being slaughtered (we were honestly shocked to learn what happens to them once they can’t perform well on the track anymore).

Since then, we’ve been visiting at least once a week to ride, learn and help out wherever we can.

They recently had an open day for families and while Mai was taking pictures of the event, I finally got to test out my new dad cam and quickly put together this little video.

It’s really inspiring to see what Corinne and her team has built and continues to build while saving these beautiful animals. If you’d like to support them, reach out to them! It’s not easy (or cheap) to care for so many horses!
