🌊 Ocean Day STEAM Activity

This week, the children enjoyed learning about the ocean through hands-on play, exploration, and imaginative role-play. They had opportunities to discover different sea animals, investigate ocean treasures, and talk about ways we can help care for our oceans.

S – Science

Explored sea animals, shells, rocks, and ocean habitats.

Discussed the importance of keeping oceans clean.

T – Technology

Used nets, buckets, and binoculars as ocean exploration tools.

E – Engineering

Used a cardboard boat during role-play to explore how boats travel on water.

A – Art

Created and explored ocean-themed displays and underwater scenes.

M – Math

Sorted and counted sea creatures, shells, and ocean treasures.

Aim: To help children build an understanding of ocean life through STEAM learning experiences while encouraging curiosity, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and awareness of how to care for our environment. 🌊🐠🐙
