βοΈπΌ This afternoon was filled with more exciting sensory and creative adventures! π The children explored a fun watermelon sensory bin, scooping, sorting, and discovering different textures through imaginative play. π They got creative with playdough sea animals, rolling, shaping, and moulding their own underwater creatures while developing their fine motor skills. π π¦π In the butterfly mud kitchen, the children enjoyed mixing, pouring, and creating magical muddy recipes inspired by beautiful butterflies, encouraging imaginative play, teamwork, and lots of laughter. π¦πͺ£π It was a wonderful afternoon full of exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning! β¨π

π Role Play: Meaning and Its Benefits (Type of Play)
Role play is a type of play where children pretend to be different people, animals, or characters. π It encourages imagination, creativity, communication, problem-solving, and social skills. π€ Through role play, children learn to express their feelings, develop confidence, improve language skills, and understand the world around them in a fun and meaningful way. π¬β¨
πΆ Babies: The babies enjoyed role play using soft toy animals. π§Έπ» They explored different animals, practised caring for them, and developed their imagination and communication skills.
πΌ 1β2 Class: The children took part in role play activities where they washed and cared for baby dolls ππΆ and also explored vet play. π©ΊπΆ They pretended to be caring for babies and treating animals, which helped them develop nurturing skills, empathy, responsibility, fine motor skills, communication, and cooperative play. πβ¨

π¦ A Day in Summer School β Safari Animals Theme π¦πΏ
The children began their exciting safari-themed day with β circle time, where they greeted one another, discussed the dayβs activities, and explored the safari animals theme. They then created π¦ giraffe finger painting patterns, developing creativity, colour recognition, and fine motor skills. Next, they took part in a π§± giraffe neck stacking activity using blocks, encouraging problem-solving, balance, and hand-eye coordination. The children also explored π safari emotion cards, helping them recognise, understand, and express different emotions. During π story time with puppets, they enjoyed an interactive storytelling experience that promoted language development, imagination, and communication. They then spent time outdoors π³ enjoying active play before participating in π graduation activities, celebrating this special milestone. During basic skills, the children completed π’ number peg sorting flashcards, strengthening number recognition, counting, and fine motor control. In the afternoon, they enjoyed π§΅ emotion threading and π² sorting emotions using emotion dice, supporting emotional awareness, communication, concentration, and fine motor development through engaging, hands-on learning.
