☀️🌼 This afternoon was filled with more exciting sensory and creative adventures! 🍉 The children explored a fun watermelon sensory bin, scooping, sorting, and discovering different textures through imaginative play. 🌊 They got creative with playdough sea animals, rolling, shaping, and moulding their own underwater creatures while developing their fine motor skills. 🐠🦀🐙 In the butterfly mud kitchen, the children enjoyed mixing, pouring, and creating magical muddy recipes inspired by beautiful butterflies, encouraging imaginative play, teamwork, and lots of laughter. 🦋🪣💚 It was a wonderful afternoon full of exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning! ✨😊

🎭 Role Play: Meaning and Its Benefits (Type of Play)

Role play is a type of play where children pretend to be different people, animals, or characters. 🌟 It encourages imagination, creativity, communication, problem-solving, and social skills. 🤝 Through role play, children learn to express their feelings, develop confidence, improve language skills, and understand the world around them in a fun and meaningful way. 💬✨

👶 Babies: The babies enjoyed role play using soft toy animals. 🧸🐻 They explored different animals, practised caring for them, and developed their imagination and communication skills.

🍼 1–2 Class: The children took part in role play activities where they washed and cared for baby dolls 🛁👶 and also explored vet play. 🩺🐶 They pretended to be caring for babies and treating animals, which helped them develop nurturing skills, empathy, responsibility, fine motor skills, communication, and cooperative play. 🌈✨

🚒 2–3 Class: The children enjoyed role playing at the fire station. 👨‍🚒🔥 They pretended to be firefighters responding to emergencies, working together to rescue people, and learning about community helpers, teamwork, and safety. 🚒😊

🦒 A Day in Summer School – Safari Animals Theme 🦁🌿

The children began their exciting safari-themed day with ⭕ circle time, where they greeted one another, discussed the day’s activities, and explored the safari animals theme. They then created 🦒 giraffe finger painting patterns, developing creativity, colour recognition, and fine motor skills. Next, they took part in a 🧱 giraffe neck stacking activity using blocks, encouraging problem-solving, balance, and hand-eye coordination. The children also explored 😊 safari emotion cards, helping them recognise, understand, and express different emotions. During 📖 story time with puppets, they enjoyed an interactive storytelling experience that promoted language development, imagination, and communication. They then spent time outdoors 🌳 enjoying active play before participating in 🎓 graduation activities, celebrating this special milestone. During basic skills, the children completed 🔢 number peg sorting flashcards, strengthening number recognition, counting, and fine motor control. In the afternoon, they enjoyed 🧵 emotion threading and 🎲 sorting emotions using emotion dice, supporting emotional awareness, communication, concentration, and fine motor development through engaging, hands-on learning.
