My camera roll after a week at Reedham Ferry campsite
We've had multiple glorious sunsets over the past week ✨️ Absolutely stunning
No matter where I am in the world I will always stop and admire a sunset! I hope I will always look up at the sky and continue to say "wow how beautiful is that". Some people travel hundreds of miles and some people travel a couple of hundred metres to watch the sun setting over the same view and there is something so special and magic in that.
Nature never fails to surprise me in the best possible ways
Where's the best sunset you've ever seen?

Looking for things to do in Valletta, then STOP scrolling now! ✋️
Take a day trip to the three cities (Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua), which sit opposite Valletta in Malta 🇲🇹 You can also do a half day if you are long on time
We spent our 6th day wandering around the beautiful streets taking in the history and charm as well as some filming locations along the way.
We got the ferry over for €4.80 return (or €1.50 for children), but they also do a single for €3 (or €1 for children). You can also get a traditional Dghajsa ride for €3 each. But we wouldn't recommend this if you get sea sick easily and the water is choppy.
Vittoriosa (Birgu), Senglea (L-Isla) and Cospicua (Bormia) are fortified cities. Vittoriosa and Senglea are parallel peninsulas and Cospicua sits behind them. Vittoriosa is one of the oldest fortified cities in Malta. It was the first home to the Knights of the order of St John in 1530. It was originally Birgu, but renamed Vittoriosa, which means victorious, after the great seige in 1565. Cospicua is the largest of the three and was award it's new name by the Knights, which means conspicuous. Senglea, originally called L-Isla which means the island, was renamed after Grand Master Claude de la Senglea.
There is so much history and charm to take in or you can get some food and drink on the waterfront!
Some of the filming products that have used the Three Cities are: Jurassic World Dominion, The Count of Monte Cristo and Game of Thrones S1
Have at least a day exploring the Three Cities and Valletta. They should both be on your Malta list. SAVE this to remember these locations
