🚨 BREAKING NEWS: HORROR AT ROTTNEST ISLAND😱🦈🇦🇺
​A massive tragedy has just shaken Western Australia this morning. A 38-year-old man has lost his life in an incredibly brutal shark attack.
​The victim was spearfishing with a group of friends at Horseshoe Reef, right near the famous tourist destination of Rottnest Island, just off the coast of Perth.
​While he was swimming only about 20 meters away from their dive boat, a nightmare surfaced from the deep. First reports indicate a massive Great White Shark, estimated between 13 to 16 feet (4 to 5 meters) long, suddenly struck.
​The predator inflicted severe, catastrophic bite wounds to his legs. In a desperate race against time, his friends bravely managed to pull him out of the water and rushed the boat to the Geordie Bay jetty. Emergency services and police were waiting on the docks and immediately began CPR... but the trauma was simply too severe, and he tragically passed away at the scene. 💔
​What makes this even more chilling is that a 16-foot Great White had been formally sighted and reported in the exact area by authorities just minutes before the attack took place.
​Spearfishing is known to draw apex predators due to the blood and low-frequency vibrations of struggling fish. However, a fatal strike this close to a crowded, high-profile tourist hub has reignited a massive national debate over ocean safety.
