Markus has played exclusive events for "G-Star Raw", "Playboy magazine", "Riga Ligo festival", "VEF Riga", "Cosmopolitan", "Riga Fashion week". In 2010 and 2011 Markus Riva has been nominated for OE TV Music Awards, including Best Male SInger, Best Song and Best video. Markus has written songs for Yana Kay - "Kad Nakts", "Hurts", for Sabine Berezina - "Bye Bye", Martins Ruskis - "Lauj", Lily - "Download your dream" and many more. He is directing music videos for Latvian pop stars - Yana Kay, DJ Ella Furman and lot of for himself. He has played in musicals "The West side story", "Les Miserables" and worked as a model in countless projects in Latvia.
