Hi, I'm Jasper and this is the story about how i've built HealJaw.

Five years ago my jaw started clicking.

I thought it was stress. Didn't think much of it.

Then the clicking became locking. And the locking became flare-ups I couldn't predict — or control.

I couldn't afford surgery. So I did what most of us do: I tried everything.

Night guards. Physio. Anti-inflammatories. Warm compresses I'd microwave at midnight. Pressing my knuckles into my cheeks just to get through a Zoom call.

Some things helped a little. Nothing really stuck.

Then one night I was scrolling reels half-asleep and I stumbled across this tiny heated jaw massager. Everyone in the comments was raving about it.

I clicked through to the website.

$249.

For a 3D printed device.

Completely out of reach at the time.

But I couldn't stop thinking about it.

So I started digging. Turns out there was real clinical research behind it — direct, targeted heat on jaw muscles reduces tension and breaks the tightening cycle

And nobody was making an accessible version of it.

So I did.

I built HealJaw :).
