AMEN is not for profit Christian Organization established to address the vulnerable living of children and Youths holistically, especially those in abject poverty
THE MANDATE:
CEM received a direct mandate from God Almighty to Advocate, Mentor, Educate and Nurture, (AMEN for short). We referred to this mandate as an “AMEN Mandate”
This mandate primarily focuses on children and teenagers/youths
in abject poverty and greet needs, people whom we believe Jesus died for. THE MINISTRY TO CHILDREN, YOUTHS, AND THE NEEDY:
The postwar nations, especially Liberia West Africa has more than 75% of its children destinies going down the drain due to the effects of abject poverty living of parents and guidance. Most of them are not in school and some have never been there. Many of these children have no wearing (clothes, feet ware, etc) to put on. Living on single or half meal daily had become normal live in these recent years thereby endangering their health and development. As these children grow up, the possibility for them running into prostitution and ghettos and becoming wayward gets clearer. CEM seeks to address the vulnerable condition of these people by providing scholarship programs, giving them clothes, shoes/slippers, and nurturing them with the word of God; motivating them through different programs and transforming them into useful tools in the hands of the church and the communities. Our Wearing Program, which include Clothes and Shoes/Slippers, Hospital and Prison ministries are some of our major ways to demonstrate godly love for those in need. Our passion for the needy, sick and the prisoners was developed as a result of the revelation received from the Lord in Matthew 25:35 – 40. CEM also operate 24/7 prayer ministries. THE PRAYER MINISTRIES:
Under the Christ Encounter Ministries, CEM operate a prayer ministry locally and internationally. We believe prayer is the necessity for survival. Our Key Scripture that give rise to the prayer ministry is II Chronicles 7:14. Our passion to pray for all Brethren in and out of Liberia is one of the aspects that make our prayer ministry effective and unique. Training Arm
We have seen the need for trained church leaders who will run the vision to God’s glory. Therefore, the training arm of CEM exists to train Christian leaders including Pastors/Ministers, Soul Harvesters and all church workers the knowledge needed for successful Christian Living and effective church growth and development.
