A Liberian girl write this.

💔My Truth, My Strength

I stayed silent for too long.

Everything I’m sharing today is not just emotion it’s backed by truth. I have proof of everything.

I met the man I called my husband in 2018. We got married on December 11, 2021, after I gave birth to our son. In 2020, while studying at the University of Liberia, I met a girl who became my best friend. She started visiting me, acting like a sister but behind my back, she was sleeping with my man. Not long after, I found out she was pregnant with his child.

While I was fighting for my marriage, my husband was secretly building a life with my best friend.

He denied everything. He knelt before my family, begged for forgiveness, and claimed it was all rumors. Even the so-called best friend denied the child was his. But the truth came out. One of her former close friends called me and said she couldn’t support what this girl had done to me. She told me everything.

My husband signed legal papers for the child and is now renting a place for her and their son. He would come home at night with supermarket receipts in his pockets items like Junior Juice and snacks for kids. But he never brought those things home for our kids So who were they for?

And just when I thought I had seen it all this same best friend went on TikTok, posting videos wearing my husband’s t-shirt and sitting in his car. Publicly. Boldly. Shamelessly. And to make matters worse, his own sister went under her post of the child and commented. That means they all knew. They were all part of the lie. Is that not witchcraft? What did I ever do to this girl to deserve such betrayal?

My people, this isn’t about drama. It’s about truth. Because betrayal thrives in silence, and emotional abuse hides behind smiles, gaslighting, and manipulation.

While we were still married, he took her to Sierra Leone to meet his family. They kept it hidden from me. I only found out through one of his nephews, who confirmed everything.

He even lied on my family’s name, claiming they told me to leave the marriage. But let’s be honest who wouldn’t tell their daughter to walk away from a man like that?

I took her to court for interfering in my marriage. The next day, he hacked my Facebook account and sent an email to my father saying he was no longer interested in the marriage. Then he showed up in court to support her and moved out of our home.

I tried filing for divorce, but I kept thinking about my kids. Seven years wasted. I worried about how they’d grow up without a Dad.So I told the judge I still loved my husband and wanted to fix the marriage.

I ask people to talk, Iwhen to his family & ask his close friends but my husband already move out of our home.

I decided to stick to love...Hate is too great a burden to bear.
I am still very much incapable of HATING anyone, let alone the father of my kids The fact remains that anyone can choose to practice POLYGAMY, but can't be impelled to accept what was never bargained for.

But I’m tired. 😭

What kind of married man leaves the house in the morning and comes back at 4 or 5 a.m.? Sleeps with his wife’s best friend? Gets her pregnant? Accepts the child? What young woman could tolerate all that?

And now she even told me sorry” for what she did. Can you imagine?

I’m divorcing him. Not because I stopped loving him, but because I need to be strong for my kids.I wish him well, but I’m choosing peace.

To Every Young Woman Reading This:

Be careful who you call “best friend.”
Be careful who you trust with your home, your heart, and your husband.
Watch for the signs. Don’t ignore your instincts.
Don’t silence your pain to protect someone else’s image.

If he lies once, he’ll lie again.
If she crosses one boundary, she’ll cross another.
Love should never cost you your dignity.
Marriage should never make you question your worth.
And loyalty should never leave you lonely.

I’m healing. I’m rebuilding. I’m choosing peace over pretense.
Because I may have lost a husband…
But I found my voice.
And I will never silence it again.

I’ve included evidence of everything I’ve said. Let the truth speak for itself 💔🕊️
