The launching of our Adult Literacy Program was successfully held on the 9th of May, 2026, in Tienii Town, Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County. The event brought together facilitators, learners, community leaders, invited guests, and supporters who gathered to celebrate the beginning of this important educational initiative.

The program was organized to provide reading, writing, and basic life skills opportunities for adults and young women who did not have the chance to complete their education. The launch marked a significant step toward promoting education, empowerment, and community development.

We greatly appreciate our leaders who were present at the launching program, especially the District Educational Officer (DEO), Mr. Laiha I.N. Konneh, for his pledge of support to the program and for his words of encouragement to the learners.
We sincerely appreciate the District Youth Chairman, Hon. D. Victor Jalieba, for his encouragement and continuous support to both the learners and facilitators.

To Plan International Liberia we say thank you yaaah, from one of our learners.
