Samuel Tweah says: I am morning riding with Freedom FM tomorrow at 8 AM to deepen the national conversation in the direction of burying lies and propaganda and uplifting truth as the lynchpin of public discourse.

To the MICAT folks, get prepared to respond with more invectives and vitriolic diatribe. These are the telltale signs of fear and intellectual collapse. Serious Government spokespersons would respond to criticism with sharper counter logic, demonstrable facts and illuminating reason. But it is clear these ingredients are missing from your intellectual arsenal if ever there was one, an arsenal sustained only by venom and cusswords. So no surprises here!

I cannot imagine folks who enviously and deviously maligned others through political lies and political shenanigans for the sake of power being themselves afraid of factual scrutiny.

Brace for impact.

Ours is not lie to US Congressmen about the doings of the RESCUE Government as you did against the CDC. Ours is not to stoke false furnaces of political protests merely to seek power, though I firmly believe that an oppressed or distressed people will choose to rise of their own volition.

Ours is only to hold the RESCUE MISSION to the FALSE standard it evoked in the imagination of Liberians to get elected and to correct the lies told during this process. Once Liberians come to the reality that they were hoodwinked into believing things that were simply not true, we can have the conversation about the real pragmatic possibilities of our national transformation.

Once Liberians understand that harmonization and free public college tuition will continue to be desirable policies of the land since it is not possible to undo them and since the RESCUE Government itself values them though it said the contrary during the 2023 campaign; once they reckon that under RESCUE teachers can be owed salary for three months for “ technical glitches” and that some Government workers like UL teachers can experience Christmas without their salary; once they accept that civil servants will never get the promised expected pay increase though $26 million of Government compensation is now hidden in “ Other Compensation “ and the wage bill has reached $ 354 million, when the CDC left it at $ 310 million; once they understand that $8.4 billion ARREST Agenda is an overinflated development vacuum whose “reprioritizing” the IMF is now calling for; and once they understand a $1.2 billion budget was hastily arranged to convey the same over inflated impression of ‘reaching a billion,’ even though significant financing for this budget remains at risk; once they understand the “ the fight against corruption” is a weapon fashioned against opposition elements, as Government surrogates purloin state resources; and once Liberians understand that most things happening now under RESCUE are occurring in the shadow and the framework of governance under the CDC, maybe then Liberians may have a true awakening of the monstrous deception hurled at them in 2023.

And just maybe after this realization, we all may have the HONEST discussion about our beloved country.

But until this realization dawns, and we are nearing the dawn, the MICAT folks will have some helluva cussing to do!
