Death Announcement!!!
It is with deep love and sadness that Merriam, Stephens, Scott, George, Dio and Bedell families announce with profound regret the passing of father, brother, uncle, husband and grandfather, Horatius Nyema Merriam.
“Boakalay Nyema or Uncle Horatius” as he was affectionally called, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026 at the home of his son, Prince G. Merriam in the Nigeria Shop Community, New Georgia.
A lifelong security personnel, Uncle Horatius brought joy to everyone who knew him. He is survived by his son, Prince, grandchildren, nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives in Liberia, the United States, Great Britan and other parts of the world.
On Friday February 27, 2026, his remains will be taken from the St. Moses Funeral Parlors in Gardnerville and taken to the St. Timothy Episcopal Church in New Georgia Estate, beginning T 6:00PM.
On Saturday, a mass of resurrection over his remains will be said at the same church. The mass starts at 10:00AM.
Following the service, he remains will be taken to the St. Moses cemetery in Bomi County for interment.

It is with heavy heart that the Collins, Scott, Allison and Odoi families announce the passing to glory of their son, brother and husband, Jeremiah S. Collins, Jr.
This sad event occurred during the morning hours of August 16, 2025 at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his father, Jeremiah S. Collins, Sr. his wife, Yvette Odoi Collins, four children, his sister Mme. Eugenia Wede Collins of the USA, his uncles and aunties of the USA and other parts of the world, brother, sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
On Friday,September 12, 2025 at 4:00pm, his remains will be taken from the AB Roberts Funeral Parlour to the St. Augustine Episcopal Church on the Barnesville Road for a night of wake keeping.
On Saturday September 13, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am, a requiem mass will be said over his remains at the same church.
NB.: All tributes will be paid during the wake except for the state, family and church.
