Obituary Announcement

The Blake, Morris, Dennis, Mulbah, Skinner, Hoff, and Coleman families deeply regret to announce the passing of their son, brother, and father, the late Commissioner Charles B. Blake of the Liberia National Police (LNP)

Commissioner Blake passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the hour of 12:54 PM after a period of illness.

The second family meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at the family residence in Mamba Point, Monrovia.

Commissioner Blake's body is currently deposited at the St. Moses Funeral Parlour on the Japanese Freeway pending funeral and burial Rites.

Funeral Arrangements are as follows:

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, A Book of Condolence Will Be Open at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police (LNP ) On Capitol Hill Beginning at 10:00 AM.

On Friday, January 10, 2025, There Will Be Two Hours Of WakeKeeping Beginning At 9:00- 11:00am Followed By Funeral Service By 11:30am At Providence Baptist Church On Broad And Ashmun Streets In Central Monrovia.

The Late Commissioner Will Be Finally laid To Rest On Saturday January 11, 2025 In Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County.

Anyone wishing to sympathize with the bereaved family can do so at the family residence in Mamba Point.

Meanwhile, The family extends its sincere appreciation to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult period of bereavement.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

MOJ Authorizes Autopsy on Boulevard Palace General Manager Anwar Fultoo's body.

On December 31, 2024, the lifeless Body of Boulevard Palace Manager Anwar's Fultoo was discovered in the bathroom at his friend's house on 9th street where he had gone for visit.

It has been alleged that he took a chemical that is used for cleaning. The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Justice has since authorized an autopsy to establish the actual cause of Futloo's death.

The information was disclosed by Police Inspector General Gregary Coleman on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police while interacting with the media.

Fonati Koffa misused over 1 million Public funds as head of President Sirleaf Special Presidential task force to prosecute Corrupt officials in the Global Witness Saga!

After serving years in jail for criminal charges against him in the US, one would have thought that Fonati Koffa would be a changed man after he was appointed by former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to head the Special Presidential Task Force (SPTF) investigating the damning Global Witness (GW) report on senior Liberian government officials

He has refused to leave his black hand behind.

It's hard to accept the argument from the office of the Deputy Speaker, that he's paid his due to society and repented after being found guilty and sentenced on felony charges in the United States, because not too long, it was the Cllr. Fonati Koffa who received 1 million plus United States Dollars having been appointed by Pres. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to head a Special Presidential Task Force (SPTF) investigating the damning Global Witness (GW) report on senior Liberian government officials

The amount was even contested by Sen. Varney Sherman to be 4.5 million given to the Koffa's team. Regrettably, the task force headed by the felon in Cllr. Koffa didn’t prosecute one person.

The Liberian people demands to know how the money was spent, why no result, and why he (Koffa) didn’t give any leftovers.
